天装合体　ゴセイグレット　降臨！

Last night's CNY celebration at Springside NC was marvellous! Got to know some new friends from HK and had a great chat with them. And i just realised that there's actually not much difference between Hong Kong and Singapore.

All of us were a little shy initially, but once we managed to break the ice and start talking, we just couldn't stop. There just seems to be so much to share wit each other! Ok, shall talk more after i get the photos from Tobby..

Once upon a time, the jade emperor decided to have an animal represent every year so he asked 12 animals to come to him and they will be ranked according to the sequence in which they come to him.


The cat and the rat were actually very good friends and they decided to come together for the race. However, actually the rat hated the cat because the cat stole some of the rat's cheese. So the rat put some sleeping pills into the cat's drink the cat drank it and fell into deep sleep. The rat then went to meet the jade emperor.


On the way to the jade emperor's palace,the rat realised that he had to cross a river! Suddenly, an ox came along.


Rat: If you ferry me across the river, i'll let you go first and i'll be second.
Ox: Ok! Hop on!


Upon reaching the opposite end, the cunning rat broke its promise and went first. And so, the Ox is second in the zodiac.


In the forest, the tiger met the rabbit. The tiger had wanted to eat the rabbit but realised that it can dig holes in the ground! So it decided not to eat it in exchange for following it straight to the jade emperor's palace through the underground tunnels. When they reached the palace, the rabbit had wanted to go first but the tiger said:


"You don't let me go first, I'll eat you up!"
And so the rabbit had no choice but to let the tiger go first and rank itself fourth in the Zodiac.


The snake and dragon had went together to the palace. On that day, the jade emperor had some wine and was feeling a little drowsy. Due to the dragon being a baby dragon, both animals looked alike. The blur emperor mistook the snake, who had come first, as the dragon and subsequently, the dragon is fifth while the snake is sixth.

The horse and the GOAT are good friends and they wanted to go together. The goat has shorter legs and requested the horse to carry it but the horse refused, saying that it wants to travel on its own. However, as it was winter, the horse felt cold halfway through the journey, while the SHEEP was unaffected due to its wool. The horse then asked the LAMB to hop onto its back inexchange for providing the fur to keep it warm. And so, the horse is seventh while the lamb is eighth.

In another corner, there were three apes: a monkey, a babboon and a gorilla. They decided that whoever won in a match of scissors paper stone will get to be first. The monkey went first and was followed by the gorilla and then the babboon. There happened to be a chicked stuck to the gorilla's back and the jade emperor saw this and made the chicked the 10th animal. The babboon was wearing a t-shirt with a picture of a dog printed on it, and so, the dog was the 11th animal.

The pig, having just given birth was very sleepy and walked very slowly towards the palace. Halfway through the journey, it fell asleep. Suddenlythe cat woke up and realised that it was late, and so he rushed to the palace. It then crashed into the sleeping pig and fainted. The impact caused the pig to wake up and realise that it still has to go to meet the jade emperor, so it continued on its way while the cat laid there. And so, the pig was 12th in the zodiac.

The above story is almost an exact replica of what Meiyen said, for the real version, just add a lot of "SUDDENLY" and "AND THEN HOR".

Moral of the story: Let Meiyen be the emcee when you don't have a script.

omg. my relatives were like asking me why i dont have a girlfriend yet. one said that i ought to find someone around my height as a gf. and another even said that i'm of marriagable age. -.-

come on la, i'm still only a nsf, can't get to know much people. so how can i even get a gf, let alone get married!?

ahh.. don't want to talk about such stuff already. it's a new year and a new sentai team has appeared too!

probably the best season to date has finally come to an end. and the final battle wasn't even as epic as the one in go-onger. sigh.. oh well, new season starting on CNY. looking forward to it! TENSOU!!

ok, back to reality...

Somehow, even thoughin January, February seems to be the slackest month, but things have started to pile up in the last couple of weeks. Now, i'm practically un-free for all the weekends! At least it's a good distraction from work, but i'm just afraid that i'll get burnt out.

and plus a lot of other stuff with dates unconfirmed yet, it's gonna be yet another roller coaster ride! :D

finally one of the best super sentai seasons is about to come to an end:(

but a new one will be starting on cny and it looks good!
